Opening the Wooden Box
On Sandeman's 225th Anniversary, the brand launched a limited edition: a Vintage 2000 Port in a 6-bottle collection, each bottle representing an essential chapter in the history of the brand founded in 1790. The Wizards created a website that live up to the challenge.
This incredible Collector's Pack - that took the form of an ultra-luxurious wooden box with 2 commemorative books - was the source of inspiration for the site: the entrance resembles the exterior of the wooden box and the transitions between areas worked as an exploration of its various sides.
For each of the 6 bottles and the 6 chapters, a film was made and, just like a TV Series, each episode was debuted one by one on the website (and social media) over several weeks. The most interested fans could subscribe an email alert for the new episodes.
The Shop Area of the website was an interesting challenge. Sandeman is available in several international markets and the Wizards had to figure out the specificities of forwarding clients to different online stores or to request-more-information forms.
